So what is Breathwork!?

The term Breathwork is a very broad term that covers many techniques. At its core it is using specific breathing techniques to elicit a specific outcome. Breathwork can be used to heal, to improve cardiovascular function, to calm the mind, to feel more connected to oneself, to heal trauma, to move energy, it can even be used to induce altered states of consciousness.

The OA method is scientific breathwork to optimize health, mental clarity and performance

So How do you know which style is for you?

I believe that there is a deep need for both styles of breathwork and when I work 1 to 1 with clients I first look to establish what they are trying to achieve, or solve in their life.

I use scientific methods to establish if you have dysfunctional breathing and I then tailor a breathwork programme that uses a combination of both styles in addition to other supports like daily rituals, energy work or journaling exercises.
